About VISR

A core research facility at Vanderbilt

Our collaborations span the social sciences, humanities, medicine, public health, and epidemiology, STEM education, environmental health and science, and engineering.

VISR houses advanced geospatial computational resources, including high-spec workstations, servers, and commercial and open-source software tools, alongside geophysical and land survey instrumentation.
